Colonge Add

FINISHED PRODUCT
                                                                     Images Used
This is the cologne project, i wanted to do something cool/manly so i used a picture of me with a cool hat i found when i went to an Astros game. Then after i used the quick selection tool to get rid of the background for that rather dashing picture of me, i used the healing brush tool to fix up some spots on my jacket because there were white spots on it and no mi gusta white spots. Afterwords i went of Google images and typed in cologne and found the really cool grenade bottles. For the Font it wasn't to hard i just typed it found a really cool font, then grabed the eye dropper tool and took a part of the shirt under my jacket then added it to my font, then gave the text a slight outer shadow.

High pass

AFTER

BEFORE

This was the high pass effect, What this does is raise the overall quality of the picture (lighting, edges, tones, softnees/hardness)  the steps are really simple and easy to follow, if you cant well.... tough nibblets. First you have to copy the orig. image then lock the layer so you don't mess anything up with your dirty little mitts. then on the 2nd layer change layer mode to overlay, then go to filter>other>high pass then adjust the dial to what ever you are pleased with. (optional) change the 2nd layers opacity if needed.

Bring color back into the picture

AFTER

Before
This is the bringing color into the picture tutorial,
First you have to have to copy the original image so we don't mess up the original then lock the layer.
Then you select the copied layer and go to image>adjustments>desaturate
After your done with that you go to the history brush, and go over the parts of the picture you want there to be color.
This was a really easy tutorial, good to learn and get really quick.

After

Before

this is the blur effect, it's not really the greatest for this picture because the background is already blurry. But i did  it anyway. it wasn't very hard i thought it was rather simple and easy to use tool quickly learn and get under my belt.

Before

This is the sepia tone effect. This effect was every easy and actually pretty simple all i did was desaturate
the picture then add more yellow and red to the over all picture. this Effect would be help full when trying to make a old vintage picture.

ORIGINAL ---------------------------------------->

I Really enjoyed this project, i used may tools such as the healing brush for the background to get rid of unwanted distractions and other stuff. I also used the healing brush to fix or get rid of my scares and blemishes that i had on my face. Then i used it to get rid of any wrinkles i had on my face (excluding the forehead).  After the Healing brush i used the Brush tool to add Highlights to my hair and change the color of my eye brows. Then i changed the color of my eyes.

Nip Tuck

AFTER
BEFORE
This is the Nip tuck tutorial  i actually found this very useful i had no idea you could select a single part and separate it from the over all image and modify it without having to risk changing the other parts of the image. Once again we used the healing brush which is pretty cool because i'm starting to really enjoy this tool.

Wrinkles

AFTER
BEFORE

This is the wrinkles tutorial, I used the healing brush for this, i had to select a good part of her face and used it to get rid of the wrinkles on her face. This concept was not very hard to master/get down because it is really simple. other than that i thought it was a pretty neat thing to get under my belt.

Change hair color

AFTER
                                                                            BEFORE
To change this lady's hair color... i really expected it to be a whole lot harder but as it turns out it was actually pretty easy. The biggest mistake i made was in the very beginning was supposed to select the brush tool and instead i selected the healing brush so when i switched to quick mask mode the red line would not stay. other than that i fixed it and went to edit>adjustments> hue and saturation then i was finished.

Skin tone

After
Before

This tutorial was simple.... almost to easy. all you had to do was use the magic wand tool and select the problem area on the persons face and then take the eye droper tool and select a good color from the surrounding area. then make a new layer and go to fill and change the fill to color. then step back to admire this guys BEAUTIFUL FACE!!!!!!!!!!!
this was a easy tutorial.

eye make up

After
Before

This tutorial was actually pretty easy, i actually enjoyed it. we used 3 layers one for each one of the colors i used. The first layer i used (eye lid) i had to chance the opacity to 46 but then cody said i had to change the layer mode to soft color and it turned out better than changing the opacity. i repeated this step for the other 2 layers . other than that there was no problems. i used a brush size of 12 px even though the tutorial asked for 15px

Healing brush/ Blemishes and acne

Finished product
Original
I really enjoyed this project, i felt that the steps used and demonstrated in this project was very straight forward, simple, and easy to remember. From learning how to used this brush and technique i will defiantly use this in my personal works and when i mess around with photo shop in my free time. i noticed if you go over a certain spot with the brush enough it will grab a piece of the image not located around that spot and place it there.
