CLipping mask

BEHOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Clipping mask!
At first with this project i was really lost, like i had no idea what to do... then i realized there was a tutorial for it and boom! got it done. This was fairly simple, first you need a back ground (i used pictures) then you need to get a text ( Freshman Year) Afterwards you drag the background layer(s) above the text and with them selected right click >create clipping mask then you are done. Add stroke if needed if the text is hard to see.

The tape part was super easy, you will make a rectangle with the marquee tool, then fill it with  (D3A537)
Then grab a textured brush and add a few strokes of (DCB965)
Then get a different textured brush and add (A9883A)
Afterwards get the eraser tool and get some textures and get rid of the sides and make it look rough so it looks real. then copy and paste, then boom! you got tape

Page Curl effect

Before

After
This Process was rather easy really, there was not anything you had to modify to change the look of the picture unless you felt the need to. First we made a rectangle with the Marquee tool in the bottom right hand side, then gave it a gradient of black and white. Afterwards  Edit>Transform>Warp then a grid will pop up. Drag the corner to the middle of the image. After that my friend you is done!!

Colonge Add

FINISHED PRODUCT
                                                                     Images Used
This is the cologne project, i wanted to do something cool/manly so i used a picture of me with a cool hat i found when i went to an Astros game. Then after i used the quick selection tool to get rid of the background for that rather dashing picture of me, i used the healing brush tool to fix up some spots on my jacket because there were white spots on it and no mi gusta white spots. Afterwords i went of Google images and typed in cologne and found the really cool grenade bottles. For the Font it wasn't to hard i just typed it found a really cool font, then grabed the eye dropper tool and took a part of the shirt under my jacket then added it to my font, then gave the text a slight outer shadow.

High pass

AFTER

BEFORE

This was the high pass effect, What this does is raise the overall quality of the picture (lighting, edges, tones, softnees/hardness)  the steps are really simple and easy to follow, if you cant well.... tough nibblets. First you have to copy the orig. image then lock the layer so you don't mess anything up with your dirty little mitts. then on the 2nd layer change layer mode to overlay, then go to filter>other>high pass then adjust the dial to what ever you are pleased with. (optional) change the 2nd layers opacity if needed.

Bring color back into the picture

AFTER

Before
This is the bringing color into the picture tutorial,
First you have to have to copy the original image so we don't mess up the original then lock the layer.
Then you select the copied layer and go to image>adjustments>desaturate
After your done with that you go to the history brush, and go over the parts of the picture you want there to be color.
This was a really easy tutorial, good to learn and get really quick.

this is the blur effect, it's not really the greatest for this picture because the background is already blurry. But i did  it anyway. it wasn't very hard i thought it was rather simple and easy to use tool quickly learn and get under my belt.
